What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
First off, congratulations on wanting to pursue a career in HR. That’s the first step. The world needs more people who are willing to advocate for employees, aid leaders, and adhere to important laws and policies. If you’re wondering where to start, get your aPHR certification. It’s the perfect certification for those just starting out and will tell you everything you need to know about the basics of HR. Then it’s all about finding a company who will take a chance on you and you’re on your way.
