Claire is excited to expand her knowledge about HR in association with HR Mavericks. Claire is entering her Senior year of the Human Resource Management program at Brigham Young University. Claire is currently interning with Boeing in Global, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and People Analytics.
What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
HR is such an exciting area to get involved with because we are dealing with everything at the root of the business. If you are looking to be involved with HR, talk with those around you and ask them about their work. Understanding the business and the people behind the business is what HR is about. Our people are our greatest assets–we need to treat them like it.
